My OH makes this and it looks like a biohazard but he loves it and its quick, cheap and simple - everyone's a winner!! (except me perhaps, but then mushy peas in any form give me the creeps!!)
I absolutely love mushy pea curry and make it once a week religiously. I love it with rice, or jacket potato or with SW chips. Last time I did it, I chucked a tin of tomatoes in too and it was even better. Enjoy Purplesky. Oooo nom nom nom.
Well asda smart price mushy peas are 17p a can and also they arnt that luminous green colour so perfect for this . And yes it does look like biological waste but it has been a winner and i can imagine with some sw chips it would be very nice also

Oooh, I may be tempted to try sometime then!
I buy the boxes of mushy peas, the ones you soak for a couple of hours. They're about 35 a box and makes a huge pans worth of peas. We can get through a box with chips between the 3 of us in our house.
I love mushy peas but not the repercussions in the lounge afterwards though......
