Puddings Ice-cream Machine and Ice-cream Update

I hope to use this thread to add any yummy ice-cream recipes / sorbet recipes

Just a quick update from a general thread :- I ended up buying a Gino D'Campo Icecream maker as it was half price at Robert Dyas. The pot went in the freezer yesterday and about 1 hour ago I just poured in an Onken Yogurt).

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt
1 large Strawberry fat free yogurt (I used Onken)

Pour into Icecream maker and wait for 25 mins.

Yum yum

Made real McCoy chocolate Icecream for the children- had a tiny taste - lovely but very rich!! I will see if I can copy it in some form of SW style.

VANILLA-ICE ICECREAM (part of HEXA or 4 SYNS)

Ingredients

8 fl.oz. / 250ml Skimmed Milk
1.5 Tblsp Splenda
4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pour all into an Icecream maker and churn for about 20-30 mins.

'BOUNTY' ICECREAM (2 or 2.5 SYNS total)

INGREDIENTS
1 carton silken tofu
5-7 TBLSP sweetener
2-4 tsp coconut essence
7g grated milk chocolate = 2 SYNS or a 99 Flake (9g) crumbled = 2.5 SYNS

Blitz tofu and add sweetener and coconut essence

Pour into Icecream maker and slowly pour in grated chocolate .

This is yummy and creamy!

Chocolate Orange (or favourite Mullerlite) Icecream

Pour 2 pots of Orange sprinkled with dark chocolate Mullerlight ( or your favourite syn-free mullerlight) into an Icecream maker. Switch on for 25 mins

Hi Peggypig

I am thrilled with it- the only downside is that you can only make 1 batch a day ie fill the tub ( I could pour a lot more in to the tub) but you can't make 2 types of Icecream a day :-(. . I would need a super-duper Icecream maker to do that .

RASPBERRY TART SYN-FREE FROZEN YOGURT

4 pots Weightwatchers Raspberry Tart yogurt (dessert range)

Pour into Icecream maker and switch on for 30 minutes.

Makes quite a lot - yum yum

Cant wait to make the toffee apple one!!

VANILLA MALTESER ICECREAM

TOTAL 9.5 SYNS

2 tubs Greek 0% yogurt
3 Tblsp Vanilla Extract
4 Tblsp splenda
37g Maltesers, crushed

Whisk together the yogurt, sweetener and vanilla together.
Stir in the crushed Maltesers

Pour into Icecream maker.

Takes 10 mins and definitely worth the syns
