if you take the batter off frozen fish do you still syn it?

love basa frozen fillet but syn value is pretty high, if once cooked i remove the batter would it then be free on extra easy?:sigh:

I have been told you can eat fried fish with the batter off because the fish doesn't absorb any oil but your best asking your slimming world consultant
