iPod help needed before I throw it out a window

My mum very kindly bought me an ipod Nano today

Its driving me nuts trying to work the damn thing though. Ive now managed to reset it so I dont have every single piece of music ever saved to my PC on it.

Ive saved a few CDs to iTunes but I cant get them to transfer to my iPod, and Im ready to fling it out a window.

Do I need to create a playlist for an album or is there some way to do it which is soooo obvious I cant see it for looking at it

Yep, that will do it I reckon.

I use monkey media now, as I have a bit more control over other things, but I think I just imported smartlists when I used itunes, so sure it would work with playlists.

Hey once your ipod is plugged into the computer you can just drag cd's or songs over into your ipod when your in itunes. You need to click manage music manually instead of sync to do that. I had a lot of trouble with mine when i first got it as well. Hope that helps.
