Hi Ladies,

As per Clover's suggestion I though I'd start a diary! Background to my 'life' is I'm 28, have 2 children, a daughter almosy 7 and a son 4. I am a single mummy although moved in with my new partner last October. I work full time in London in a very busy job. My resting weight was around 10st 7lbs and although I would have liked to have weighed less this suited fine. When living alone I had a big lunch and skipped dinner so since living with my partner I have put on 1st 1lb taking me to 11st 8lb and that's what bought me to Herbalife. I'd happily like to lose 2stone but just the 1 that has crept on would be amazing. I'm also doing it to up my energy levels and get back running and feeling happy so here goes!!

Today is day 6 for me and so far so good! I managed another run last night, only 4k and it was harder than the 6k on Monday but it's 4k more that 0k! I rewarded myself with a glass of rose in the garden afterwards. For dinner I had tuna mixed with cottage cheese, 2 hard boiled eggs, sweet potato, and a salad of spinach, rocket, cucumber, yellow pepper and tomato with some 0% fat greek yogurt.

This morning I had Vanilla F1 mixed with 1 scoop of pmd with semi skimmed milk and a handful of blueberries. Was feeling a bit light headed when I got to work so have had a handful of allsorted nuts. Lunch will be as breakfast but chocolate F1 and almond milk which is what I have here with a protein bar for afternoon snack.

I've really enjoyed my dinners this week & know people tend to struggle so I'll document what I've had below in the hope it may give some inspiration and remind me that I've been loving it if I start to struggle!

Friday - Warm Chicken Salad - 1 Chicken breast cooked in a cook bag for 30 minutes, seasoned with a garlic and herb mix on a salad bed of spinich, baby leaf's, vine tomato, cucumber, mixed peppers and one baby bel light cut up. 2 tbls 0% greek yogurt.

Saturday - As Friday as I enjoyed it so much!

Sunday - Steak with Garlic mushrooms, onions and salad - lettuce, tomato, peppers, cucumber, seasoned with balsamic vinegar and greek yogurt.

Monday - Salmon seasoned with salt, pepper and parsley, cooked in the microwave with a slice of lemon. Mashed sweet potato and a salad of spinich, baby leaf's, vine tomato, cucumber, mixed peppers and one baby bel light cut up. 2 tbls 0% greek yogurt.

Tuesday - F1 Shake - I had a work lunch and ordered warm tiger prawns to start and steak for main, swapping the 'frites' for spinach, I declined the wine and treated myself to a diet coke!!

Wednesay - Tuna salad as diary.

Tonight - I think I'll make Fajita's without the tortilla so chicken strips, peppers, mushrooms and onions in fajita seasoning and greek yogurt to replace the sour cream and probably some mash sweet potato and you guessed it salad....

Im similar to u, gained weight when I moved in with my partner! Where in london are u? I work at charing cross hospital.

Meals sound so good! I find it hard to make my veggie dinners so different!

I work at London Bridge but we have offices at Embankment Place so am around charring cross too! I'm letting my distributor do my weigh-ins every 2 weeks but will have a cheeky step on my own tomorrow but doubt they matched hers in the first place, may have a measure though! Need to go make my lunch shake before my legs lead me to the canteen and curry Thursday!! x

So I had a measure last night and looking like 3 inches off my hips which is great but I'm still going to wait for my 'official' stuff to be done before I declare anything lol.

Out for lunch today and have looked at the menu and already chosen the skinny steak option so it just comes with salad! x
 
Hello there! good luck to you with your beginning of new life! Congratulations with hip's loss;-) For me this is the best loss;-))) Good choice at the restaurant!! Keep going!
 
Hi Ladies

Weekend was a bit of a wash out but could have been much worse! Had my shake on Saturday as normal for bf but missed lunch completely and had meat off the BBQ at 5pm in a rush as was taking my daughter to see Matilda for her 7th birthday! That was all. Then yesterday shake for bf again and we took my daughter and freinds for a picnic I stuck to meat only but did have some cake and then missed dinner...

Back on it today though so far had 2 shakes and a protein bar, am going to Zumba tonight and dinner will be something with chicken as have some to use up!

Thank you - appreciate it :) Went off track last night as in didn't eat dinner at all! My newly turned 7 year old was a nightmare at bedtime and by the time that had finished it was 9.30 and I'd lost my appretite :-(

Today so far was Chocolate shake at 8am - protein bar at 11 and will have a Vanilla shake between 1 and 2. Lovely day here in town so will take it to the park and catch some sun :-D
 
Oh gosh I have all that to come as my little one is only 3. Good work today I love the chocolate shake and even more so now I dont have to use milk

See I don't really like the shakes made with water even with the PDM added much prefer the thickness of milk! I have a 4 year old boy too - on their own they can be angels and together demons lol.

I want to kill my OH as made a roast chicken last night and made my beautiful roast potato's just for him whilst I had sweet potato mash, broccli and cabbage with mine and his one drink afterwork ending in a few more, he assured me he would eat when he got in but didn't, bloody waste of my time and will power was not needed lol. And he forgot milk so my shake was a water one this morning :-(

I am seeing my distributor tonight at 9.15 so will be able to update with my results :)
 
Decided to have lunch today and will shake for dinner - work canteen were doing a bbq outside so I had three skewers of corriander and lime chicken with salad and sweet potato mash!! Haha I feel like it was there just for me, I'm going to turn into sweet potato mash.

It was so good BUT I was feelinf full before I finsihed it but still ate it all and now feel blotted....I've always had 'clear your plate' syndrome and have really realised today that I must work on this! x
 
Ha ha bbq at work sounds lovely I too have the clear your plate syndrome and it is still work in progress to leave things, it is how I was brought up so difficult to change!

So it went well - I've lost 4lbs in 10 days, 3 inches from my hips, three from my thighs, and half an inch from my both breast measurements. I think the weight loss could have been more and may have been but think the not eating properly over the weekend hasn't helped BUT that's a 'healthy' loss and one I'm happy with and Ive been feeling so good which is a main factor not just the number on the scales! I see her again a week today so will aim to be extra good this week :)

Shake this morning was F1 with PDM and a pint of water. I currently have an enlarged pus covered tonsil so feel pretty crappy at work, have had a muller light yogurt and am drinking an energy tea. They're giving out free breakfast this morning too, I have avoided the pastry's and have a cup of fruit containing cherry's, raspberries, blueberries, pomegranites and water melon :)

I forgot my shaker today kind of on purpose so will have a healthy lunch and then a shake for dinner so I can get to bed as soon as possible! xxx
 
Great weight loss well done, sounds painful your tonsils, I love that your workplace is giving free breakfasts. Keep up the amazing work

I then skipped dinner and I feel bloated today too. MUST STICK TO PLAN!

Had a bad day so far today too, made my lunch shake and its spilt all in my bag and my god the smell :eek: all over my laptop too but so far so good! Now need a new lunch plan :-(

Oh no, the smell mustve been bad! Do u have a tesco near u? In their sandwich section is a superfood salad, only abput 250kcals and loaded with good stuff, thats always my.fall back plan if I forget work lunch.

Iv had a offish couple of days, working nights has thrown me off and ended up eating chocolates. Its only human to fall off plan occasionally, I hope u had a nice.time out, what was the dessert? Hope it was a yummy ;)
