Hi Ladies,
As per Clover's suggestion I though I'd start a diary! Background to my 'life' is I'm 28, have 2 children, a daughter almosy 7 and a son 4. I am a single mummy although moved in with my new partner last October. I work full time in London in a very busy job. My resting weight was around 10st 7lbs and although I would have liked to have weighed less this suited fine. When living alone I had a big lunch and skipped dinner so since living with my partner I have put on 1st 1lb taking me to 11st 8lb and that's what bought me to Herbalife. I'd happily like to lose 2stone but just the 1 that has crept on would be amazing. I'm also doing it to up my energy levels and get back running and feeling happy so here goes!!
Today is day 6 for me and so far so good! I managed another run last night, only 4k and it was harder than the 6k on Monday but it's 4k more that 0k! I rewarded myself with a glass of rose in the garden afterwards. For dinner I had tuna mixed with cottage cheese, 2 hard boiled eggs, sweet potato, and a salad of spinach, rocket, cucumber, yellow pepper and tomato with some 0% fat greek yogurt.
This morning I had Vanilla F1 mixed with 1 scoop of pmd with semi skimmed milk and a handful of blueberries. Was feeling a bit light headed when I got to work so have had a handful of allsorted nuts. Lunch will be as breakfast but chocolate F1 and almond milk which is what I have here with a protein bar for afternoon snack.
I've really enjoyed my dinners this week & know people tend to struggle so I'll document what I've had below in the hope it may give some inspiration and remind me that I've been loving it if I start to struggle!
Friday - Warm Chicken Salad - 1 Chicken breast cooked in a cook bag for 30 minutes, seasoned with a garlic and herb mix on a salad bed of spinich, baby leaf's, vine tomato, cucumber, mixed peppers and one baby bel light cut up. 2 tbls 0% greek yogurt.
Saturday - As Friday as I enjoyed it so much!
Sunday - Steak with Garlic mushrooms, onions and salad - lettuce, tomato, peppers, cucumber, seasoned with balsamic vinegar and greek yogurt.
Monday - Salmon seasoned with salt, pepper and parsley, cooked in the microwave with a slice of lemon. Mashed sweet potato and a salad of spinich, baby leaf's, vine tomato, cucumber, mixed peppers and one baby bel light cut up. 2 tbls 0% greek yogurt.
Tuesday - F1 Shake - I had a work lunch and ordered warm tiger prawns to start and steak for main, swapping the 'frites' for spinach, I declined the wine and treated myself to a diet coke!!
Wednesay - Tuna salad as diary.
Tonight - I think I'll make Fajita's without the tortilla so chicken strips, peppers, mushrooms and onions in fajita seasoning and greek yogurt to replace the sour cream and probably some mash sweet potato and you guessed it salad....
