I've just made this for the first time and it was very tasty and filling. I had it with some ww malted danish bread, you could have it with pitta bread or some veg mixed in if you wanted. The dahl itself is 9pp.
Ingredients:
fry-light (or similar)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic (crushed)
100g dry red lentils
tsp curry powder
200g canned chopped toms
400ml hot veg stock
Method:
1. Spray a pan with frylight and cook the onion and garlic for 5 mins.
2. Add lentils, toms, curry powder and stock.
3. Cover and bring to simmer
4. Lower heat and simmer for 15 mins or until lentils are soft.
5. Enjoy!
