Level or heaped tbs of oatbran?

What do other members use when measuring oatbran, do you use a level tablespoon or heaped?

I have always used a level tbs but was wondering if I should be increasing the volume slightly.

Level - but I use a purpose made measuring scoop rather than a spoon from the drawer.

Yes, I use a 'proper' measuring spoon too.

A friend of mine started the diet last week but was using heaped tbs's of oatbran and couldn't keep out of the bathroom!

She just thought it was the oatbran that wasn't agreeing with her.

I said I thought they should be level ones but thought I would double check here.
