Hi All,

Been up and down and on and off plan for months now but am finally getting back on track (won't bore you with the details) but am planning on keeping a food diary. Would love people's opinions on it, one thing I know I'm useless at is getting my 1/3 superfree but am trying to snack on more fruit through the day in order to (hopefully) not be so hungry when it comes to mealtimes. So this is my diary for today, what I've eaten so far and what I have planned for later:

Breakfast
2 slices wholemeal toast (HEB)
Flora Light, measured (2 syns)

Snacks
Apple
1 Segment of Terry's Chocolate Orange (2.5 Syns)

Lunch
Pasta, lean bacon and Extra Light Philadelphia (1.5 syns for 25g of Philly)
Apple
Mullerlight Strawberry

Drinks
Tea (Milk from HEA)
Diet coke
Water

Planned for later today:

Afternoon Snacks
Banana

Evening Meal
Chicken stuffed with quark, bacon and garlic
Frozen veg
SW Chips

Also, planning a post-work workout (prior to evening meal and what the banana will be saved for) for approx 40 mins

Total planned syns for the day - 6

Slight change to the food diary.
My boss went to the shop and got me muller rice instead of muller light. :( didn't eat it but missed out on my sweet treat.
Also, had Philly instead of quark in the chicken so that's another 2 syns.
THEN still wanting something sweet I had some toast and jam for 6 syns.

Total syns for the day - 14. Woohoo.
 
your def missing the 1/3 superfree bit
Why not have banana at lunch & adding some chopped pepper, onions, mushrooms etc to your pasta lunch x
 
Ok, today did shockingly bad with the superfree but other than that:

Very proud of my food diary above as I managed to resist the temptation of cakes in the office for 6 hours and when I did have one it was a weight watchers carrot cake slice (4 syns) and sorted my craving out no end.
I'm worrying about the rest of the week as I'm pretty much brassic until payday on mon but think I've JUST got enough to see me through.

Half lunch & half afternoon snack

Tesco sushi (7 syns for the whole pack)

Sw keema curry with rice

Also, have attempted to make some crisps today in my new airfryer which are free and a good snack while essay writing so will let you know how I get on with those.

Today's food diary is a little more complicated as there is a certain amount of guess work with my evening meal but here goes.

Breakfast

Yogurt, granola and fruit bowl (4 syns)

Lunch

Bacon, pasta and extra light Philadelphia (0.5 syns)
Apple

Afternoon

Wholemeal toast
Flora light (1 syn)

Evening meal

Tandoori mixed grill (about 8.5 syns)
Sheek kebab (about 1.5 syns)
Boiled rice (free)
chana massala (5 syns for the whole serving but only ate 1 syn worth)

Total syns for the day - 16.5. Yes, I know it went over a little for the day but my weekly syns are still well in so, yay me!!! :)

Also, did 40 mins at the gym including 5 mins on the power plate. Bouncy!! Lol.
 
Hoping I haven't ruined my week but yesterday's food diary goes a bit like this:

Breakfast

Lean bacon sandwich with wholemeal bread (HEB)
Flora light (2 syns)
BBQ sauce (1.5 syns)

Lunch

Pasta, lean bacon and Philadelphia. (1 syn)

Dinner

Keema curry with rice (free)
Sheek kebab (1.5 syns)
Chicken shashlik (8 syns approx)
Bombay aloo (1 syn)

Drinks

Water
4 pints lager (28 syns)

Total 43 syns. :(:(:( I need a lower syn drink. I know mixers are really low but I drink them so quickly I end up drinking the same amount of syns.
 
Lost 1.5 this week so am VERY happy with that!!! :)

Diary for today (no one reads though but it helps me. Lol)

B - wholemeal toast with flora light (1 HEB and 2 syns)

S - apple

L - tuna and Swiss cheese sandwich on wholemeal bread (7.5 syns, 1 HEB and one HEA) (but well worth it!)

T - spaghetti bolognaise with spaghetti weighed and measured.

Also, 30 mins at the gym BEFORE WORK!!!! So proud of myself. Haha.
 
I stopped writing in here coz no one was reading/advising on it but I decided I'm gonna keep going as I seem to be losing motivation this week so maybe this helped!
Tuesday's Diary
B - 2xHi-Fi Light Bars (HEB)
S - Apple
L - Plain Noodles, banana, activia snackpot and Walkers Squares (5 syns)
T - Jacket Potato with Tuna and Mayonaise (1 syn) and cheese (HEA)
Drinks - Diet coke, water, tea (milk synned - 3 syns)

Plus 30 Mins at the gym, 20 mins treadmill and 10 mins on the power plate.

Total syns - 9 Syns

Wednesday (red day)
B - 2xHi-Fi Light Bars (HEB)
S - Apple
L - Fajita (5 syns) with chicken and spices topped with cheese (HEA), steamed veg, Walkers Squares (5 syns), banana
T - Chicken with Philadelphia (1.5 syns) and lean bacon and fine beans
Drinks - Diet coke, water (although not enough to be honest) and tea (milk from second HEA)

Total syns for the day - 11.5 - plus just realised I only had 1 HEB, oops.

Thursday
B-2xHi-fi light bars (HEB)
S-Apple
L-Subway Chicken Teriyaki Wrap with sweet onion sauce (11 syns - not ideal but was out with a client and couldn't do my rice time), banana
T-slimming world style cooked dinner with chicken, roasties, gravy (1.5 syns) and yorkshire pudding (2.5 syns)
Drinks - diet coke, tea (milk from HEA) and water

Total syns for the day - 15 - not ideal but still on plan
