Limit on amount of carbs per meal?

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a recommendation on the amount of carbs for a low carb meal?

Im thinking of having two quorn sausages with the chilli! Which is a total of 23g.

Does this matter? I'm under 50g for the day for my total carbs.

it just seems a lot in one sitting.
 
I'd imagine that would be ok as long as you stay under the daily limit.
 
I believe at the most we should be on around 65g of carb a day but forgive me if I'm mistaken and that includes all your packs plus 100g protein / veggies etc.

When I contacted S&S re Quorn they said you can have up to 100g of Quorn a day, I'm a veggie so I personally chose to have a whole 100g pack of Quorn slices each night which is only 123 kcals and around 7 g carb.

For reference, website says:

Deep Ketosis: 0 - 50g carbs/day
Ketosis safe zone: 51- 70g carbs/day (with ideal being less than 65g carbs)
Warning (some people will come out of ketosis): 71-80g carbs/day
Danger: over 81g/carbs

I am usually around 69/70g of carbs which seems fine for me.
