Hi Everyone
Hope your all having a good weekend. I thought i would start a diary today in an attempt to help me stick to this diet and to vent my thoughts and feelings.
So a bit about me. Im 26 and currently weigh 15st 13lb. I havent always been overweight in fact i was always very healthy as a teenager playing netball and hockey, i maintained a slim figure. The problems began when i went to live in Australia for 18 months with my boyfriend (now husband ) I basically ate every day like i was on holiday for 18 months so i ballooned from a size 10 to a size 16 (not massive but it gets worse lol) When we returned home we decided to buy a house, got engaged and then starting trying for a baby! When i fell pregnant i was 13st 13lb and the day i gave birth i weighed 16lb exactly. I had a traumatic birth but we had a beautiful little girl. Over the next year i went up to 17st 11lb at my highest. Im not even sure how it happened it was a gradual thing probably due to being tired and not being bothered to cook proper food or do exercise.
Anyway i started Cambridge Diet and lost 1st 8lb but really didnt get on with the flavours and was wretching drinking them. Over the last 6 months i have done weight watchers and slimming world and have lost the same half a stone and gained it back over and over and im fed up of it now.
Me and my husband are wanting to try for another baby but i dont want to do it at this size as i was really depressed at my biggest and took it out on him!
So her i am determined to lose this weight once and for all and go on to have a healthy pregnancy where i dont put loads of weight on and lose the weight i do put on in a healthy way!
I want to lose 5 stone before the end of september ideally and then i am going to follow slimming world once i fall pregnant.
Sorry to waffle on just thought i would share my journey so far.
