I randomly decided to join the Slimming World group in my area last night after all the amazing things I've heard about it and how much I know it works from seeing the results on others... plus after eating too much rubbish the past year or so with my boyfriend I had put on over two stone and desperately want to get back to the weight I used to be and more importantly - get my confidence back.
It's been my first day today and I already love the freedom of having so many choices of delicious meals, and I still cannot get my head around how much I can eat, yet lose weight at the same time! I've tried other 'diets' before but I've never seemed to stick to them for very long, and I feel like this one will be much different.
Breakfast - Chopped up strawberries with a vanilla muller light poured in - it tasted SO good!
Lunch - I was at work and didn't have time to make anything, therefore I chose the bachelors 'pasta n sauce' in chicken and mushroom, in which I added a little bit of milk (Healthy extra A) as I've read that this pasta is free (apart from the milk)
Snack - A good old apple, and some chopped strawberries and melon!
Dinner - Stir fry made with quorn pieces, low calorie soy sauce, fry light, peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and peas. I've also become addicted to strawberries, and had more strawberries with a vanilla muller light mixed in - I couldn't believe how great it tasted!
Supper - A slice of weight watchers bread (Healthy extra B) with a teaspoon of light butter (1.5 syns) and a cup of horlicks light instant (4.5 syns)
Total number of syns - 6
I just cannot believe how much I've enjoyed today and all the tasty things I've had! Really looking forward to making some more yummy meals xo
