Hello, I am Lottie
I have been off the SW wagon for a long time, around 10 months. In that time I have tried 5:2, VLCD's, and also spent a lot of time eating whatever I like. I estimate myself to be around the weight I was when I quit SW, but will be weighing in on tuesday morning, when I officially restart.
The bottom line is, I need to work on learning how to eat properly. All the faddish things I have been doing don't achieve that. I really believe SW principles are the answer to balancing meals, in a fairly non-restrictive, simple way. I have had a history of binge eating disorder, so strict diets are really counterproductive for me. On SW I managed to quit binge eating altogether. I am determined to not obsess too much... that can be a destructive thing for me, so I am not allowing myself to set any goals, or set myself any specific challenges. I am going to focus on retraining myself and learning good habits, and the weight will come off.
I am not planning to go to group, I really dislike them.
