Hey there :eek: So, this is my first day trying the Slimming World diet (again). I don't really want to go to the groups or pay for online membership but have been a member quite a lot of times and remember the basic rules, so thought I could google syns etc, and just see how I go :eek:

I lost 2.5 stone last year on the Dukan, just went back on it for a month without cheating but only lost 2lbs so have decided to change tactics.

So. Green Day. Starting weight 13'5''

Breakfast: Strawberries, grapes, apple slices and a cherry muller light

Lunch: Pasta and tomato/basil sauce (home-made, no oil), mint muller light, cucumber slices

Snack: little bowl left over pasta/sauce, pomegranate

Dinner: Cottage Pie (lean mince = B choice), cauliflower and sweetcorn, gravy. Mint muller light

Syns: Gravy (2?) and a Jam Doughnut (11 - someone's birthday at work!) = 13 syns

A choice = milk in tea.

Exercise - 30 mins exercise bike (my legs are fizzy now)

So. Day 2. Just finished 30 mins on exercise bike - did 16kms! Tried reading a book while cycling, but didn't work very well.

Green Day. My fave!

Breakfast - apple, strawberries, muller light

Lunch - pasta & ratatouille, muller light

Dinner - chilli con carne (2 x B choice) rice, little grated cheese (A choice), muller light

Snacks/Syns - pasta, galaxy caramel cake bar (6 syns) popcorn (6 syns)

Other A choice = milk in tea/coffee

LOVING the syns, after my 6 months solid Dukan-ing last year, and another month of it last month it's awesome to be able to pop a bit of popcorn in and not worry about it :)
 
Day 3. Not exercising today cos I've got a headache, from shoulder tension which I'm pretty sure was caused by not stretching before/after the exercise bike :( And anyway I'm pretty sure I only need to do it 5 days a week

so. Green day (always! I ♥ carbs)

Brekkie - 3 egg omelette, ketchup (1 syn). muller light

Lunch - pasta & ratatouille, little leftover chilli on top (B choice), muller light

Dinner - Cottage Pie (B choice), muller light, cauliflower, sweetcorn, gravy (2 syns)

Snacks - leftover pasta (small pot), muller lights, 2 x 18g lindor eggs from easter egg (11 syns), fruit bag, 2 x ski smooth (5 syns)

A choice - milk in tea

TOTAL 19 Syns

Friday 13th Apr

Breakfast: 2 x ski smooth yogs (thought these were fat free but not so sure now....just googling) ****!! 2.5 syns each so that's 5 syns before 6am! (plus I had 2 last night, bringing yesterday' syns to 19) BOO!:break_diet:This is one of those times when I need to learn to just 'draw a line under it' and carry on as normal. Although the urge to say 'sod it, I've slipped up now' is always there - why do we do that?

Breakfast (ctd) omelette with cherry tomatoes and basil

Snack - pasta and ratatouille

Lunch, jacket potato beans and cheese (A choice), muller light

Dinner - beans on toast (b choice) with grated cheese (b choice), 2 x muller light

Snack - 18g lindt egg (5.5 syns)

total syns = 10.5 :eek:)

and ONE honey roast cashew which my friend made me eat at work!!

Sat 14th April

bit of an error today, started the day with my 10 syns of choccie before I even had breakfast (bad move), dipped in to a little more Lindt bunny later on...then to my Mum's for lunch where I had garlic bread, baguette and butter. Then a belated easter egg hunt with the kids and my nephew as we didn't do it last week because dd had chickenpox....well, I had to help my little nephew eat some of his choccie!!

let's call this a flexi-syn day, Christ knows how many just in choc - say 80?

Never mind. Back on the horse tomoz

I think, the key is, have breakfast first before starting on the choc!!
