Hi all, I have officially started SW today after trying CD for a month ( made me feel ill - in fact really ill :-() - & reading through various forums on minis SW definately seems the most popular & healthiest way to lose weight. Anyway I ordered the sw starter pack books (got the 2011 version) & some sw recipe books online so am doing this from home & still trying to get my head round it all so thought it would be beneficial to keep an online food diary - as I'm hoping any mistakes I make will be spotted by you all :) x look forward to joining you all on SW x

Hello and welcome! I never think a replacement for real food is a long term fix but each to their own and I love my food too much!

Good luck!

All looks good to me, although I'd need more for breakfast like a couple of boiled eggs too lol

Hi Applekath

Like you say each to there own & CD obviously suits lots of people but it definately wasn't for me - i'd never felt so ill or miserable! Plus i didn't actually lose that much weight on it so i'm absolutely loving slimming world - it feels great being able to eat again lol - (well still trying to get my head round all the plans which are a bit confusing at the moment but i think im doing extra easy). I did loads of cooking on Sunday from the SW books - so far cottage pie, lemon & garlic chicken, low fat sausage casserole & beef goulash have kept a couple of portions in the fridge & froze the rest :).
Thanks for the tip I'll take a couple of boiled eggs to work with me for brekkie too.

Last night ended up having SW chips, egg & baked beans

Today
Bf - activia ff yoghurt, mixed fruit
L - tuna salad
Sn - banana x 2 Alpen light bar

Waiting at home - SW cottage pie with more veg
