Macarons anyone?

Oh gosh it always amazes me what people think of inventing out of necessity. I adore French Macarons especially if they are Laduree ones. However they are so very temperamental to make and after a few failed attempts I vowed to never try and make my own again, stick to buying them instead. Fast forward to the present and the fact that I am following the Dukan plan. I am desperate for a sweet treat and looking at these babies I am inspired to give them another try. What do you think? I think they look yum yum pigs bum :)

Wow they look amazing. First I thought aha - another recipe with unmatched photos but from the stage pics lower down this is clearly not the case.
this makes two days of tolerated rations with the cornflour, and the cocoa amount is off the scale (2 TB is probably about 6 days tolerateds if you can find the reduced fat coca) but I might give this a try without the cocoa filling. No chance of pistachio flavouring but I do have almond... Thanks for sharing! I have never made real Macarons either so this could be interesting :)
 
I looked at the cocoa powder amount as well and thought I could maybe sandwich them with sugar free jelly instead. I will try them on Monday and hopefully report back with great news.
