Hi Everybody,
My name is John. I am 31 years old and I am from Ireland. When I was young I was an elite athlete and I took part in numerous sports. When I went into my early 20's and started working/socialising myweight piled up and I have struggled with it ever since. It is fair to say thatI have an unhealthy relationship with food.
I have just gone through my 5th day of Lipotrim - TFR. This is my second time on this diet. I was previous onit in Feb., Mar. and April 2010.
2.5 years ago I did it for 9 weeks followed byre-feed and maintenance. I had researched everything and had mentally preparedmyself. I knew the dangers of what could happen after if I returned to my oldeating habits. I went from 19 Stone 10 Lbs down to 14 Stone 10 Lbs. It was toughgoing but as the weight fell off I became more and more motivated. Some peopledidn't recognise me when they met me for the 1st time in a while. I dideverything to the letter of the law(including the Re-Feed - 1 week andMaintenance - 4 weeks). I stayed off of alcohol and avoided fast food but I wasvery careless in the months after...not being one to make excuses but I had aserious amount of occasions weddings, stag party's, family occasions and dinnerparty's. Having so many occasions in the 2nd half of the year really spurred meon when I was on TFR.
Each occasion usually kicked off with all insundry complimenting me on my great achievement. As time went by I felt myclothes beginning to tighten and I was afraid to weigh myself...this was a hugemistake. 12 months on and I was right back to where I started @19 Stone 10 Lbs.I joined Weight Watchers in June 2011 and I lost 7 Lbs in no time but onceagain the Parties kicked off and I lost my way again. I am currently 20 Stone 3 Lbs. I should have joined Weight Watchers immediatelyafter coming off the Maintenance Program. This time I intend to stay on theprogram for 5/6 weeks followed by the Re-Feed and Maintenance. I'm gettingmarried in 2 months time so I will take a break for a few weeks but I intend onbeing sensible.
When I come back from my Honeymoon I will goback on the Maintenance Program and then I will join Weight Watchers. I willweigh myself everyday - I think this is vital. I knew deep down after comingoff Lipotrim that I had to change my habits from what they had been but afterdoing everything right I lost all respect and ended up going straight back tomy old ways. It was embarrassing but I had to take it on the chin.
Hopefully my previous experience will stand tome. I intend to log my progress on here. If anybody has any questions or needsadvice/tips please do not hesitate to ask.
