This is how I make mine:
500g pack of lean beef mince
Small onion finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 - 1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried sage
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp tomato puree (if you're on a pv day but can be omitted)
1 egg (to bind it)
Black pepper to taste
Pop it all in a bowl and get your hands dirty squishing it all together, then pop into a loaf tin & cover the top with some greaseproof paper. Bake in the oven at 180 for about an hour (I check after about 40 mins or so) until cooked.
