Does anyone know if its ok to take cough medicine/cough sweets while on TS. I've had a really sore throat and tickly cough for the last couple of days but all medicines etc seem to have some sort of lemon flavour. Dont know if this is just a stupid question but would it take me out of ketosis if I had them?

There was this thread in the off topic forum where remedies for sore throats etc are discussed. Hope this helps.

I've got a raging sore throat at the moment so I've been dosing myself up with ibuprofen and paracetamol, I'm sure its making me hungrier though

Tried to reply earlier to post a link to a thread in Off Topic section of the Exante MiniMins forums called "Sore Throat", forgot that I am not allowed to post links until 50 posts.

Have a look over there, there were a few suggestions of remedies and someone mentioned sugar free lozenges that they are using.
