Hi I'm struggling with the milk allowance and want to know if having more drastically changes the weight loss or knocks out of ketosis It's day 6 for me and found it ok so far, just one hungry day..... Also can you have as much water flavouring as you like? Thanks x
 
Can I ask in what way are you struggling? Are you using your allowance for shakes/porridge as well as hot drinks? If so try making the shakes with water most of us do. To be fare you don't notice any difference. That way it would leave you all your allowance for tea/coffee.
If you want more I'd ask S&S for some advice and see what they say. I'm not entirely sure, cos I don't have milk at all. (that's only cos I'm 'strange' and cant stand hot drinks lol)
 
It's because milk is quite high in carbs and more could quite easily knock you out of ketosis. You could maybe look at having unsweetened soya milk instead. Look up how much you could have of that for about the same calories / carbs as the skimmed milk as it's probably a bit more than real milk.
 
Hi thanks both, I'm a real coffee junky, I don't use the allowance in the shakes just in my coffee but it goes quick..... I'll measure out tomorrow and see how I get on. I don't struggle without food but do struggle without my hot drinks... Your weight loss is fab, first weigh in tomorrow so fingers crossed
