my partner pointed this out to me a year ago - i'd been mis-reading them like a choob since 2002!!

for example, i thought they said 11.2.5, as in 11 stones and 2 lbs, and 0.5 of a lbs.
but they dont say that, they say 11.25, theres no second decimal point, so they actually mean 11 stones and a quarter of a stone (thats the .25)

we only noticed this because he's an aussie so goes in kgs, and we weighed ourselves in stones and kgs to keep a chart of our weightloss on the fridge, then one day i went on a weight converter site and realised they didnt match up!

so now i weigh in kgs and then use a weight converter website to get the pounds.

so i guess over the years i've lost more than i thought, and at times less than i thought - doh! :p

Mine are definitely stones and pounds, so last week they showed 11 13.6 so just under 12 stone. Always good to get down into that next stone barrier which is why I weigh in stones and not pounds - just for the effect :)
