My first week

Hi :) I thought I would try CC as bit fed up of slow/no losses on SW. I lost 7 pounds this week:D I am so pleased and I could eat so many things! Any kind of bread or cereal I like!! Healthy ready meals when I don't feel like cooking. Wish I had tried this years ago!

Stupid send button....was meant to say welcome ally. I came from sw and havent looked back. These guys are a freindly bunch, and so full of good advice.

Hello Ally! I'm an ex-SW person (there are a few of us here) and whilst I loved SW, I found I needed something new and a bit more freedom to get me losing. I'm a slow loser (nothing to do with my fondness for baking!) and I find that calorie counting really gives me the flexibility I need.
I was doing SW and struggling and I discovered the My Fitness Pal app for my phone (if you've not got it already, get it! Most of us here are obsessed with it!) and started using it alongside SW as a food diary. But then I noticed the cals I was eating and started trying to cc alongside SW...this helped me get to target! But then I had a baby and when it came to losing baby weight I just decided to go with CC for ease. It's working :)

Thanks Miki. I've done SW on and off for years and really enjoying the change. You do seem like a friendly bunch :)

Thanks Hellie. I am enjoying the freedom. Was becoming a bit of a drag cooking from scratch all the time and so frustrated with slow losses when all around me people who cheated were losing more! I thought cc would be hard but it's really flexible. I can have a nice sandwich again! Also loving myfitnesspal!
