Hello everyone

I'm starting exante today feeling quite nervous and excited at the same time. I have never done a vlcd before so completely new to this. I have ordered a shake and porridge bumper packs.

I'm 13st 9lbs ideally I would love love love to be 11st but right now I'm aiming for 12st I do think that's aiming too high though. Not sure what to expect I guess. I don't have any support at all, infact many who are against this kind of diet but I'm determined to do this on my own and with the help of minis. I can can't I? I know I've got it in me that I CAN!!!

So far I've had the porridge and about a litre of water. The porridge tastes quite yummy so am pleased so far.

Will update when I've tried the next pack.

Hey 13st11...

I started on Thursday and apart from my OH no one agreed with this method of weightloss but at the end of the day it's your health and wellbeing at stake and if you feel that this is the diet for you embrace it!

:D I'm on day 5 and seem to be over the worst of the hunger and cravings! The more water you drink the less hungry you feel.., all I can say is distract yourself as much as you possibly can lol especially on day 3!

You will and you can do this! Absolutely! I keep telling myself it's not forever food will be there when our bodies are ready to go back to eating ... And we just need to adopt a sensible eating habit when the time comes! If you need support this is the best place to be all the exante guys are friendly and welcoming and encouraging!

Your goal can be whatever you want it to be! It will be achievable as long as you persevere! :)

You will be fine! I Look forward to following your progress!! :D xx

Hey!
First of all good luck with the exante journey, its a roller coaster of a ride (and I am only a short way in myself) but it definitely does work so your 11st goal could be closer than you think!
Mini's is great support, at first I hid this diet from everyone, even my boyfriend who still doesnt really know the extent of what I am doing and has no idea re the cost, he thinks its something like slim fast etc. He has twigged now that I am doing something drastic due to the huge change in my body etc but still doesn't completely get it.
My family are super supportive now that I have told them (only took me 5 weeks :p) and applaud my will power at times, my Mum is even trying it this week as I have given her a weeks worth of packs to try!
Food can be your friend, at least I hope so! if you have a look through my diary you'l see that I eat 2/3 times a week, I just make sure its low carb and calorie. Also I think exercise makes a huge difference, not loads, just 20/30mins of extra exercise from walking to jogging etc!

Seriously good luck, You'll be fine, plus a diary is a great way to keep on track and the guys here are just so lovely and supportive you will never look back :)

I also started today :D Hello! We've both started at similar weights so i'll be following your progress with interest :)
I agree that your 12 stone goal is probably nearer than you expect on this diet. Mini- goals are a great idea though because then you don't feel you have a mountain to climb.
This site is a godsend, there are lots of experienced 'losers' that are just brilliant and have many words of wisdom.

Best of luck xxx

well I've had my 2nd pack I had a vanilla shake and must say it tastes lush i added a teeny tiny bit of coffee and it tasted absolute divine so far am impressed. I do keep thinking about food though but reckon that's just my head or through boredom. Hopefully it'll pass. I'll update this evening when I'll have my 3rd pack.

Good good! You've had the same as me but the opposite way round :) I liked them both too. I'm not thinking about food yet, but I am peeing like it's an olympic sport :giggle:
