Hi.

I'm new on here but I'm no stranger to diets and this is probably my third try at slimming world, not that it doesn't work, just stuff happened. Anyway my starting weigh in is on Monday I'm dreading it yet excited at the same time. I think I need to loose 2st7lbs to reach my goal and aim to do it by July(ambitious yes but gotta give it a go).

unfortunately I have torn the cartilage in my knee so can't do my usual fitness regime but hey they say you don't need to exercise so let's hope it's true.

I'm hoping to add my food diary on a daily basis and if anyone does read and likes the sound of anything I will (if it's allowed) add recipes.

Welcome becki - lots of newbies today.

Great forum with some amazing girls. I lost 2.5stone in around 7months although lots of exercise. But first 3 months not great on food. So definitely doable.

When I had my nasty hip injury I still did lots of abs / arms work and made a massive difference.

Good luck with SW - there seems to be some new optional variation which is stricter but some people have had some amazing losses.

So day 1 was yesterday and day 2 seems to have gone well.

Breakfast
1 banana, blueberries and a cherry muller light.

Dinner.
Egg salad with gherkins, seafood sticks, curry loaf bun and home made houmous.

Tea
Paprika pork.

Snacks
seafood sticks
curry loaf bun
banana

Supper
2 slices of wholemeal toast with quark honey and blueberries.
