My slimming world and running ramblings..

Hi all,

Decided I'd start to make a little diary, I do post on a few threads when I have the time but I'm hoping to devote my main time to this one.

So I re-joined class and my first weigh in was tues, I was a little excited, definitely feeling so much better for being back on plan and then I came down to earth a bit. I lost half a pound on my first week and at first I could of cried, especially when the other first weeker lost half a stone!

I do have to remember though that I'm 9lb away from target so I should expect lower losses and also it wasn't like I'd not stuck to the plan before, I'd say I was doing it but having too many syns each week and managing to stay the same some weeks.

So here I am, ready to lose that 9lb but also desperate to improve my running and find something that I enjoy doing and can do well, I'm on week 2 of an 8 week 10k programme and its going well, I have a 2.5 mile to complete today so I will see how that goes later, speed soup is on the go as I love it, it's great for work, not sure if it helps me wthi all those beans though!
 
Ok so the household has woken up with colds all round this morning, we are all feeling pretty rubbish so I shall be wasting syns on flu and cold medicine, oh and a hot toddy or two tonight!

Still managed to do my run even though half way through I felt like being sick, the cough medicine was seriously repeating!

Non the less, 2.5 done today, no stops, ready for week 3 now!
 
Yesterday was such an off plan day in the end, let the illness munches get the better of us and we treated ourselves to pizza!


At least I don't regret it, back on plan today busy cooking a mushroom stroganoff for tea in the slow cooker, it smells gorgeous!
