Hi there

Well ive decided to give weight watchers a go. :) A bit about me, I'm Em, mummy to a 3 year old boy whos birthday is tomorrow! I've decided to do ww online for the time being and then if I'm struggling go to meetings but the only meeting near me is on at 6:30pm & by then I'm shattered! I'm starting my journey at exactly 11 stone, which means I have 26pp a day.

So today is day one, no point in delaying a start :) You'll probably see that I'm a bit of a snacker but that will probably change by the time the boy is back at nursery.

Good luck!
I have a 3 old little boy too, he goes back to nursery in the afternoons tomorrow, going to miss him but can't wait for us to have routine back my 8m old is out of sorts with it lol x

Thank you for the welcomes, so far so good today so hope it continues.
My little boy goes back tomorrow afternoon too :D And then full time Tuesday. Kind of can't wait but more for his sake as hes been unwell since Christmas Day and hes missing his little friends lol. How are you both finding weight watchers? Just hoping I'll get most of this weight off by the summer.

I love weight watchers, its got me to goal and changed my attitude to food. I've a few lbs I need to get rid of again, but that was holidays and christmas. I know if I stick with it I'll be back at goal soon. The one bit of advice I would give for a beginner is use every pp you have, all dailies and all weeklies!

Know what you mean about the kids, my little girl goes back to school tomorrow and I can't wait, just to get back into routine, my 2 year old needs his routine lol.

lol I will probably go into the weeklies tomorrow for little ones birthday! But at least its at the beginning of the week and can get in control by next weigh in. Well done on getting to goal on WW! Just shows it can be done :)
Aww bless em, it'll be so quiet when the kids go back though! Though plus side is school run is a long walk so that'll be some extra exercise in for me lol

Iv already lost 3 stone Between ww and calorie counting so doing okay. Got 22lbs to go and hoping to do it by my LO first birthday in may! Should be do able!
Our school run is only 10 mins each way, do 40min a day but it's up and down a horrid steep hill so I do earn abit of ap with it lol!

oo well done to you! Fingers crossed you get the rest off by May :D Oh 10 minutes isn't bad lol, my little ones nursery is 30 minutes each way, and I hate the walk.. but like you say it all adds up to activity points.

Day one gone okay so far:

Alpen Light Bar (2)
WW Chocolate Brownie(4)
Flake (5)
French Fries S&V (2)
Cracker bread & philly (4)
2 WW Digestives (3)
WW Petit Pain (3)
Bacon & Egg (3)
26/26

A bit of a snacky day but I know I'll eat better during the week and "snack" during the weekend.

Well done on your first day! I'm looking forward to tomorrow so I can get back into it properly, most of the Christmas treats are gone now too so just need to do a big healthy shop now everything back to normal!

Thank you, well day one finished :D Early night tonight as the little one went to bed early, meaning he'll be up early..
Oh I found Christmas bloated me! Oh well roll on Easter :p I did a shop this morning to get "ready" for today, wrote down today all I wanted and worked out if it was worth it in points lol
Having a birthday party for little one tomorrow after nursery at his grans house, be fun to see what they do for him but I can see me going into weeklies for it. :/ Sure it'll be alright though in the long run!
Hope you two had good days.

That'll be lovely to have a birthday party for the little fella. Mine is 2 in two weeks. I'll be having a little party I'd say, might take him and his sister to the play centre and let them run around for a while. I plan on eating fruit for breakfast, homemade veg soup for lunch and having all my dailies left for dinner and cake lol.

Aww don't it feel like yesterday when they little uns were born though? Why didn't I think of that in regards to eating 0 point stuff until the evening! Thats a good plan lol Its the first birthday the little one is actually excited about so making a bit of a fuss for him, hes moaning about nursery though and doesn't want to go, but I'm sure once hes there he'll love it... normally does!

I know the feeling! My youngest LO will be 8months next week, just got his first tooth and learning to crawl! They grow so fast! I love planning birthdays though iv actually booked his 1st birthday cake before he was born haha! As soon as I got my c section date lol, still not sure what theme were going with but it's not til may! I'm a real saddo when it comes to birthday parties has to be perfect lol x

Aww bless him! You'd need eyes at the back of your head soon lol Thats some forward planning!
My little one woke up at 5am - tired & hes not due in nursery until 1pm! Going to be fun I think trying to get him there lol
Day 2 and feel so eurgh :/ a bit strange but Im sure itll pass.

Both of mine didn't get up til 9.30am!! Shocking lie in. I was awake from 8 just waiting for them lol! Jesse wants to go to the park on the way to nursery but the weather doesn't look too promising!

Hi Emmystar!

Happy birthday to your little boy! I hope he has a lovely day. Good luck for your WW diet and well done on the weight loss so far! I'm back to the diet this year too... I've juggled with different diets in the past and found that this one always seems to work for me! I shall keep popping in to see how you get on!

x

Wow mrs-s that is a lie in and a half! Lol! I'll be lucky if my boy sleeps until 7:30 :p Hope your son enjoyed nursery today!
Thank you Rachel, I went on a few diets last year and same as you, found WW the best as you can pretty much eat what you want within points.
Thank you for the birthday wishes, my little man has had a good afternoon at nursery and now we're just chilling at his grans, popped on for 5 minutes as my other half is looking to join weight watchers from next week to do same as me but trying to figure out his points is hard!
Have worked out my points for today and will only use at most 5-10 weeklies! Quite proud of myself there :D Plan is to not use any for rest of the week and just use the dailies up.
Will put my food diary a bit later on, hope you've all had a fab day :D
Also found some dresses I plan to get into! I will put a picture up of them later to keep me focused :)

Ohh loved to see the dresses. And well done on staying on plan with your sons birthday. It'll be great when your OH joins too, great to have the extra support and someone else to motivate you. Men are allowed loads of pp though, my sisters husband is on 42pp a day plus weeklies!!! I secretly hate him lol.
