So im craving a nandos and it has always been my downfall. Do you think il get away with using nando's cooking sauce on my protein meal. Are we allowed any sugar on S&S. I had a look theres not much carbs. Its just the sugar content that looks a bit iffy.
 
I have Nandos without problem. I always take the skin off though so a certain amount of the sauce comes off with that. The sugar is carbs - so if the overall carbs is ok then you'll be ok.
 
No sugar, it's the worse thing you can have, all carb, and empty calories, not one bit of goodness in there. Even though the carb count is low & you may well get away with it, I would say you're better off having the chicken without the sauce, it's a good habit to adopt as nearly all shop-bought sauces have sugars and all sorts in them that we just don't need. You can always use one of your packs (say the curry) as a sauce to go with your chicken & veg.

If ypu look online at the Nando's nutitional information you'll see that it's actually quite good.

Agreed the nutritional info is pretty good. It's a nice treat :)
 
I agree that the meal can be a really healthy one as you can have chicken & salad, all low-cal, low-carb, it was the jar of sauce I was saying to be wary of :)
