Need recipe for cheese sauce!!

I love a creamy cheese sauce, for pasta or to use in a lasagne.

Can anyone give me a recipe for one that is ok with the EE plan? Preferably I'd like one that is free rather than using a healthy extra, as EE only lets me have one HXA choice. I've tried mixing quark into pasta but it is far too dry. Any tips?

If you use a mixture of quark & fromage frais, that can be better than straight quark.

And if it needs thickening (particularly if you want to use it with a baked pasta dish such as lasagne) add an egg.

I really miss macaroni cheese I would like a nice a cheese sauce aswell one that is actually cheesey!!

I would love a sauce recipe for smoked haddaock, spent over an hour looking through search for one before anybody suggests doing a search
Cheese sauce recipes whether looking in threads or posts separates the words and gives so many!!!!
Any with laughing cow and being as hubby on plan with me I can use his HEXa to make it and then halve sauce I believe?

Bisto instant cheese sauce is 8 syns for 100ml so i use that with some fromage frais or total 0% mixed in and then top my lasange with that and a little grated cheese

M&S half fat cheese is very strong in flavour! so assuming you could add that to your quark and low fat fromage frais to make a yummy sauce! not sure what it would work out at tho! as not on this diet anymore!
