Hello all,

went tonight and got weighed at my local group. Not as bad as I thought but still worse than I really want lol I want to get slim and fit. My goal is for my friends wedding in Greece in June next year.

Hope i still to plan and lose this weight. Been looking through a lot of posts and seems a lot of people have reached their goals or are not far from it.

New and learning so any tips or meal ideas would be great. I'm gonna start by looking through the recipes.

Does anyone gave treat nights on weight night? Just wondering cos when I done WW years ago we use to have treat night after WI I'm not planning on doing that every wk but just wanted an idea of how you all treat yourselves. I'd like to buy new clothes but have many in different sizes so won't do that for a while yet.

Fingers crossed for all your WI's this week!

Hi! Welcome to SW, minimins and a happy, healthier new you!

This site is full of tips, recipes, etc to make sure you get off to a flying start, but don't forget to sign up to lifeline online with your card number and pin which you should have been given in group. That way you can get access to syn values online (the mobile site works much better than the app on android phones btw!)

Many people do have treat night after weigh in, but it can turn into a bit of a black hole because you don't count it! There's nothing wrong with a treat, but no point having takeaway on weigh in night just for the sake of it! You get 15 syns a day to use as you would like!

just look through some before and after pics......totally amazing! Your stats are amazing too.

Already can't wait for next wk WI haha

Hi there,

I'm a newbie too - about to go and weigh in and collect all the info I can about the mysterious Slimming World! I did Weightwatchers a couple of years ago and lost 56lbs - have regained about 2 stone of that, as I gave up completely after I'd reached a weight I liked....just goes to show you do need to maintain the changes you make!!
I found this forum really helpful when I did WW and hoping changing over to SW will kick start my weight loss!!

Good luck with your first week xx

Wow great loss, I lost 2st on cambridge and then lost a bit more about 10lb just watching what I eat. Gave up smoking 18months ago and have gained about 8lb but I'm ok with that as giving up smoking meant more to me at the time. Now I'm totally over the cigs I'm ready to get back on the weight loss wagon.

Keep us posted with your WI next wk :)
