300 Calories New to juddd

Hello I am starting juddd on Tuesday


The weekly plan is mon, wed and fri down day Of 500 cals

Sat, tue and thurs will be up day of 2000 cals

And Sunday will be A middle daiy of 1500 cals
in
How does that sound?

That's an average of 1285 cals a day

Some people find they 'ease' themselves into JUDDD by starting off with DDs of around 700 cals and gradually working their way down to 500 or less - perhaps you could try that if you're worried about keeping under 500? Even though I came from a vlcd, I started off around 550 cals or so to get me in the groove, as it were!

Every body is different. Its really important to eat something you enjoy and makes the most of the calories. You also need to plan it to suit your lifestyle..ie If I'm working a morning shift I really need to eat breakfast on a DD....before I leave & dinner when I finish..then I just have an OXO cube or similar in the evening. However if i'm working Evenings i don't bother with breakfast..i eat a good dinner & take a snack with me to work to eat on my break.
I choose fruit & 0% natural yog for breakfast or eggs. My dinner is often homemade soup..tomato & carrot, red pepper, veggie. Tea is often fish & lots of veggies or a huge salad with prawns!
There is a good thread on snacks under 100 cals on here somewhere. Its actually been much easier to do a DD than i thought..but you do need to plan in advance.
 
Hi and welcome, DD s do get easier and if you are clever with your cals you can actually eat fairly well, check out Monicas diary (passionflower, her diary is called just do it Mon) she gets aamazing meals for her cals. However I personally find that the more tasty I make food the more hungry I get so I stick to 150 cals for a pint of skimmed milk, I don't drink it all but I do drink loads of tea and coffee as it sees me through a DD so i need the milk for that, then I have 2 meals of approx 150 cals, usually crispbreads with low fat philli for lunch then either a Batchelors pasta pot (166 cals) or Baxters minestrone soup , very filling , for my supper, keeping it simple works for me as I don't want to be thinking about food all day on a DD. However everyone is different and you may enjoy experimenting to see what you can get for your cals. All you have to remember is that you can eat what you want tomorrow and then a day doesn't seem that long at all and then the more DD s you do the easier they get. If a greedy pig like me can do them I am sure you can x

LOL...disolved in hot water....and if I'm really hungry I'll ad a mushroom or two..LOL..then pretend its a lovely filling soup!

I do the same but eat it with a spoon,

Right been weighed tonight I've gained 3.5 pound this week. So I'm 9 stone 10 now. Want to lose ten pound initially. My leggins even feel tighter :-( cant wait to get started!

Up day tomorrow 2000 cals all planned out.
 
Today was first up day. I ate a total of 2200 so a bit over but it was worth it. I'm planned and ready for down day tomorrow

Well I've not eaten yet only had teas and a sneaky biscuit I regret but my food for tonight is planned giving me a total of 570 damn biscuit!! But still not bad going for my first go
