Morning all. Im 26 y/o male and almost 31 stone. I gained a lot of weight in the last 8 years due to big lifestyle changes and its only now i am really determined to do something about it. A friend of a friend has gone from 26stone to 15stone in 9 months so if he can do it so can i.
At the mo i am mainly eating tuna salad (little bit of light mayo) and steamed chicken, veg and potatoes for tea. But its a little bland to be honest. I dont have a lot of money to pay for fancy shakes and slimming classes and things so trying to do it myself.
I have read a little about ketosis but dont exactly know what it is, how to get it or anything but seems like a lot of people have good things to say about it. I have lost 5lb in the last week eating what i am now but im looking for support and healthy eating advice mainly. Ill definatly be sticking round and will keep you all updated how i get on.

Hey chris.

I have just started dieting too. I am on lipotrim. 2 shakes a day and loads of water. no food at all.

It costs me £48 a week. but i weighed that up to shopping, snacks, meals out, beer, biscuits for the office etc etc i am actually saving money!

We are similar weights too. Seems a never ending battle but i am also determined to lose some of this damn weight!

You from the uk?

Yeah mate live just outside of Liverpool, Nice to see somebody else on here of similar build.

Hi Chris, you could try adding some spices to your food(cajun, tarragon or just parsley etc.)I like to read recipes and then tweak them to suit my diet.Keep up the good work-and you too crackerbread!

Youd really be best following a definite diet. You could join SW or WW for a week to get the books. Not all the VLCDs are expensive. Slim & Save is about £27 a week, its a mix of shakes and meals.
