Hello all, I've started slimming world today. Done it a few years ago when it was red and green days so didnt feel I needed to attend classes. This food optimising is very confusing so sticking to red and green days. So today I've had this on red day.

2 x 400mg slices warbutons whole meal bread (he from b) with 2 laughing cow light triangle ( part of he from a) and lean ham.

banana at 10

salad with lean ham, lettuce , pepper, cucumber, coriander, and 2 triangles laughing cow light with2 slimming world crackers/ryvita type crackers ( using up healthy extras). Tangerine and apple with low fat 10 calorie jelly.

Stir fry with lots of veg, lean beef strips and a pkt of instant noodle (syns 18) between 2 people. Light yoghurt and banana.

does that look ok?

any further ideas would be great. Thanks.

Food plans looks perfect for a red day. Only thing I'd say is don't forget to have between 5-15 syns each day. They're there to be used, help with losses and most importantly stop you from feeling deprived of anything! I find I particularly need them when I'm doing a red day as I don't tend to eat as much filling foods (I.e. pasta, rice, potatoes etc.)

If you haven't got a sweet tooth, use them on salad dressings/ sauces or even on beans/pulses/potatoes/sweetcorn/peas etc on a red day.

Good luck with the rest of your journey! If you want to post what you're eating every day in a food diary there's a great thread on minimins. I post in mine every day and it really helps me to keep on track - get some great ideas from others people's diaries too :) xx
