Hi I am new here so just thought I'd post a 'Hello'. I started SW yesterday online so was just looking to talk and share hints and tips with other SW peeps... it seems to good to be true that you can eat as much as you want of free foods and lose weight. Is anyone else on EE and got some good recipes. I have over 3 stone to lose and need all the support I can get as I am big comfort eater :( look forward to getting to know you all.

Hiya, i joined sw last week & my first weigh in was y.day. I was convinced i hadnt lost as i was always full, had been eating so much.. And i lost 5lbs.. So i was really happy.
I did the ee plan, but this week i am changing it abit, having a green day today.
I found i am eating the same things, alot of chicken breasts, with savory rice & salad.
Today i have had beans on toast for breakfast, jacket potato & salad for lunch, with 30g red leicester as heslthy extra a, & 115g tuna as my healthy extra b. it was lovely, i dont feel like im on a diet at all.
I hope you get on ok, & it'll be nice getting to know you on here xx
 
Nice to meet you xojxojxoj, Well done on the weight loss!! How did you find the syns in your first week? Things I normally eat or by habit go to have (i.e butter, sandwhich for lunch etc) are all syns!!

I too had beans on toast this morning and having Jacket Pot with salad for tea.... call me mrs windalpous tomorrow lol!

Is a green day much different from an EE day?

I have been using between 5 & 10 syns a day. Usually on salad cream & brown sauce with my beans on toast (not together lol)
Well you could have a sandwich and use your bread as you healthy b.
what i like about doing red or green days is that you can have 2 healthy a's & 2 healthy b's.
the difference is, ee you can have as much meat, rice, potato etc as you want so long as you have 1/3 superfree food on your plate. Where as green day, you mainly have carbs, no meat unless you use it as one of your healthy extras. Do you have all the up to date books & stuff?? Ive quite enjoyed my green day today.

*waves* I got your friend request so it seems polite to say hello and all :p

I mix up my days between EE/Green/Red quite frequently and I like having a lot of variety so I have plenty of meal ideas on my diary if you want to have a nosy on there. Have a potter about in the SW recipe threads and other people's food diaries too for inspiration :) I'd also suggest you set up your own diary on here and include your daily food diaries as if you have any problems it will make it a lot easier for people on here to give you good advice.

I'm also a strong supporter of using your daily syns so if you prefer to use them for sauces or a bit of butter here and there then feel free to do so - that's what syns are for, not just choccie :D

Welcome I am also new here followed the EE plan for last 5 weeks good results so far and most of all enjoying it and not missing out as use my syns on things i miss or want to add for meals

Just making small changes will help ie replacing butter with lighter than life mayo

All the best in your journey this website will certainly help loads of good posters I have come across already and the recipe threads are good too

Ps fave meal is Spag bol use passata extra lean mince and loads of free foods in
