Hi

I am a newby to atkins and at the mo have very little knowledge, am about to download a book to read up, and help and hints would be greatfully appreciated

Hey Dawn! Go to Jim's post on here - about starting gives you all the basics! Most importantly when you get the book ready all of it - dont just skip to chapter 11 - lol!

All the people on here are so helpful and really nice so if you get stuck don't worry - just ask!

Reading the book is the absolute best place to start - then have a look through our sticky section: 'so you're thinking of starting Atkins' 'tips and tricks' and the sticky on cheating are all must reads.

Thank you, i read quite a bit of the book yesterday and read jims beginner post but will also be checking out lots more forums today

Welcome Dawn - as the others say, have a really good read here - and there are other Atkins sites too - although this is the nicest
