O/T Student Loans advice please!

Hi There,

Sorry this is totally off topic, but I thought someone may have experience of this!

I am hoping to take a year out of work next year to do an MA. I live with my boyfriend and we own our house together, does anyone know if I will still be able to get a loan to pay my tuition fees etc or will my boyfriend be assessed and expected to pay?(as I don't think thats really fair and wouldn't expect him to!)

Ah...looks like I'll just have to ring the student loans company......

I'd hoped to have a bit of background info first though incase there was a certain way I should go about it to ensure I was offered a loan....?
