Ok lets do this!!

Hi all

First time at doing a diary but I'm hoping it helps keep me focused. I've done exante before but always a little half heartedly. This time I'm hoping its different.

Husband is in the army and went away to Canada last night for 10 weeks. I have a 2yr old and a 7 week old and about 4/5 stone of 'baby weight' to shift. Can't blame the babies though its my fault entirely. Id LOVE 2 stone to come off in the 10 weeks hubby is away. Hopefully without him here it'll be easier for me to stick to.

I turn 30 in November and I *think* a surprise party is being planned so I wanna look my best just in case!

Weighed in at 14.7 this morning, I've taken my measurements, I have a litre bottle of water next to me- wish me luck!!

Hello and welcome :wavey:

Congratulations on baby. 2 stone in 10 weeks is very achievable. Good luck and I look forward to following your journey. x

Good luck!

I'm the same, have been half arsing exante for a whole and from now on its hard core super slimmer with a diary to motivate me!!

2 stone in 10 weeks does sound achievable based on other losses on here etc, I'm aiming for 3 stone in 14 weeks (I may be aiming to high but its a goal to try for anyway!)

Onwards and downwards

:)

Hi tottyrichards, yes a stone a month is achievable on exante TS if you stick to it, try to get some exercise if you can it will help.
Drink plenty of water about 2-3 litres over the day, and if you need to snack have protein chicken eggs ham cheese but no bread.
I have personally stayed away from milk totally the only other drink i have is coke zero and tea with some of the vanilla shake in as a substitute for milk.

Good luck in your journey,:)

So first day was ok but not 100%. Had shake for breakfast then wasn't hungry but felt like I wanted to eat (boredom I think) so had a couple of slices of ham. Had bar for lunch. Dinner wasn't so good! Went to mum and dads as oh is away but they wanted to go out for a curry- not exante friendly!! Had mixed grill so just meat. No naan or bhajis. Could have been worse. Probably managed 2l of water.

Day 2- had a choc shake but feeling peckish already. Gonna have a glass of water and see if that helps. If I'm still feeling it I may have a slice of ham. I'd rather have a small
Amount of protein than being ravenous and having bread and butter. Makes the diet more achievable in my eyes. Got some coke zero being delivered later so that's something to look forward to.

Day 2 is over. Shake for breakfast, bar for lunch and shake for dinner. Even got my boy a happy meal from mcd's (did steal 1 chip!)

I feel good. Luckily where my husband is away my evenings are a bit manic getting both boys to bed. So by the time they are asleep I have no energy to cook so a shake is perfect. If I wasn't doing exante then I'd probably have a take away most nights. Thank goodness for exante!!

Bring on day 3, I imagine its gonna e hard. Seeing friends in the morning and braving ikea in the pm, hopefully too busy to think of food.

Over and out x

Hi and welcome. Looking forward to following your progress.

So day 3 is done. Shake for brekka, bar for lunch and I had a ham omelette for dinner as I was eating out. I did have a diet coke. I know we should only have coke zero but someone bought me one without asking and I couldn't say no.

Day 4 has been shake & bar so far. I buttered myself a piece of white bread, had 1 bite and threw the rest away. That is serious dedication on my part!!! Had a bit of cold chicken when I need to pick. I appreciate my loss on Sunday may not be as high as if I have no food but if it keeps me on track then I'm happy.

Shake for dinner once kiddies in bed x

Ok so week 1- down 5lbs. Originally I wanted more (10lbs) but when I consider how the week went I should be pleased with 5. I had low carb meals 5/7 days, 2 glasses of cava, small picks here and there (mainly protein) and a dominos pizza!!

I know I'm never gonna be a 100% gal but I know I can do better. The annoying thing is at times I was picking out of boredom, not hunger. And I had a few evening meals cos I feel odd refusing them (been at my parents a bit whilst hubby away)

Gonna be on track now til sat and weigh in a day early. Got my school friends coming over Saturday to play with the boys, drink wine and chat so I'm gonna go off plan then so I'm hoping that gives me the motivation to be good up until then. I can only hope!!

Yesterday I was TS 100% and again today. Think I've got passed the hunger stage now which is great. I've now got to get my head into the 'stop picking' phase. I'm not hungry but if I walk pass the fridge ill have a slice of ham or finish off my sons strawberries he had for lunch. I'm not buttering slices of bread or having bowls of cereal but I am jeopardising the diet for little bites when I'm not even hungry!! So frustrating!

Tomorrow will be a working solution day as I'm picking up my parents from the airport and we always have an Indian first night home from holiday. Ill just have chicken tikka pieces and salad

I should then be TS 100% until my girly catch up on Saturday. X

Sounds like you are making it work for you and thats the main thing :) ill look forward to see saturdays loss! :) xxx

Lost 4lbs this week. Only a 6 day week as normally I weigh on a Sunday. Was hoping for 5 but happy with 4. That's 9lbs in 2 weeks. Having a day off plan today as friends over. Trying to convince myself not to make it a whole day and still have a shake for brekka and also want to show some self control otherwise that 4lb I worked so hard for could easily go back on with 1 bad day. This is the test I suppose, can I have a few treats eg handful of crisps, few glasses of wine without going mad for the whole bank holiday weekend? At least I am still doing night feeds for my 2 month old, means I can't get completely blotto as the night will be 10 times worse of drunk/hungover!

I'll report back tomorrow on my lack (or lack of) self control!
