On a mission!!

Hello All!

Well I've been doing weight watchers which is great and does work but after meeting my new fella it went out of the window (he can eat anything and stay thin!) and I ended up putting on 1 stone and half from my 2 stone weight loss :( now the honey moon period is over I don't have the heart to slowly slowly do it again and want a quick blast to get to where I was and pick up from where I left off.

I have been a total saint this week no slips at all so really looking forward to weigh in tomorrow.

It hasn't been easy.....day 3 I knew I wouldn't crack but god I felt rough. Then it has got easier and easier. Tonight has been difficult as its the only day I really get to chill and where I would've loved to have done a long sunny walk, it would've involved a stop at the pub on the moors for proper pub grub and a drink. That has got me down a bit :( and I do miss eating with the boy.


You do have to have a strong minded aim on this diet. Mine is that my bloke bought me a gorgeous dress that didn't fit. It's his birthday in October and I'm determined to fit in it by then :))) weigh in tomorrow for my first week and I'm very excited!
 
Good luck for tomorrow Jinxed. We love walking too but I on't let the fact tht I'm on this diet stop me doing it. We also cycle & we're starting ack at the gym this week so all good. Just treat yourself to a nice refreshing pint of soda water at the pub on our walk and be proud that you're doing a great job of sticking to it.

9lbs off for my first weigh in the morning! :D

I've got to admit, the lady at the chemist is really nice and it's a small village so quite personal, but she acts like she expects you to give in or not bother and it is a bit annoying. Last week when I went on it she was pulling her face at all flavours and saying "see how you get on, it's not easy, hmmm yeah well just see how you get on".
Today I went in for new shakes and to be weighed and she said "So how did you get on?" looking at me like I should've failed and then she said "Do you want to bother being weighed?" and obviously I did and then she said "are you bothering with another week?". I am going for another week but then she told me they didn't have any Strawberry which are the only ones I really like! I have 2 a day plus another flavour. So I have come away with pretty much all vanilla and a couple of chocolate as I don't really like those.

Also, I really don't plan on cheating anytime soon as I've been 100% up to now, but I do have a first anniversary coming up in not so distant future. How much damage would a bit of cheese and some olives do? A lot?

Just made my partners tea for him. Proper minced Beef and Onion Pie with carrots and peas. I was sooooo close to scoffing a mouthful of that pie but told myself NO! It took a lot of will power and slightly worried it was a bit too close!
 
You're doing brilliantly Jinxed, especially with the chemist being so negative. Maybe she tried it and couldn't do it - perhaps next time ask her why she seems to think you'd give up? I'd phone ahead too and make sure they have the strawberry shakes in stock. Well done on your loss. Keep up that commitment, even in the face of yummy pies (sounds delicious) :D
