On day 2

I gained a massive 7 stone in my pregnancy (and I was not thin when I started, but was at an acceptable size) and never got around to losing it due to surgery and other life issues. I have finally bitten the bullet after some failed stop/starts to dieting. I lost 2 stone years ago on CD and then lost 1/2 stone after I came off it and maintained for years. But, I have all of my old clothes and my son is now 4 years old. It is time to take the bull by the horns. I came across Slim and Save and thought it looked best with the most variety. So far, I am really pleased and the meals taste fine to me. Plus, I feel like I am eating something. I think this is something I can stick with. My first goal is to lose enough weight by September to go out for the night with my husband and not feel like a behemoth. And I will be able to get into some of my old clothes. I am very determined to shift this weight once and for all. My goal is to get rid of 175 pounds. A massive amount of weight. So, next week I will do my weigh in and here it goes. So far, weeing my brains out!!!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great.

I just saw you want to lose 6 stone....what an inspiration!!! How are you doing on it?

Hiya :)

Good luck on SnS! It really is much more bearable than the other VLCD's food wise, variety and flavours are outstanding. :) The only difference is that you do have to do it alone. BUT - this forum gives all the support most need, in a moment of a wobble - there's always someone on here who can help. :)

Good for you to be so very determined - write all your reasons done and put them on your fridge, in your bag, everywhere. Is very powerful to read them again in moments of weakness. I love s&s, I certainly wouldn't still be doing this if I hadn't found it, and using the very wonderful support on here. S&S don't have consultants just yet so minimims really is a fantastic support resource to use.

I started a shade over 5 months ago and have had Christmas and my Dad having major heart surgery in that time, and to be absolutely honest I don't feel like I've missed out on anything, and I'm still 60lb lighter than I was on 27th September 2012, it's incredibly doable :)
