Hi all
Although my BMI is healthy, I've long felt uncomfortable with my figure. I dropped 10 pounds in the year, and although I'm thrilled with the results, I know I've got another stone to lose until I feel completely good and confident in myself. This is hard because I seem to be stuck in a kind of 'all or nothing' mentality - I'm either trying to stick to 1000 calories a day or I'm down the pub with a bowl of chips. There is no healthy medium and to maintain my weight (as I said, although last year my BMI was ok I was eating alot with a very poor diet withouth much fruit or vegetables) I've literally been gorging half the week and dieting the other half.
I'm trying to stick to a healthy plan now, but I'm craving chocolate and cake all the time. It's also very hard to socialise without food, especially when my friends know I love sharing a pizza, going out for a creamy hot chocolate and cake and scoffing chips after a night out. I know I'd be so much happier slimmer (and I'd find it easier to move on after a nasty break-up from the confidence boost). Help!!
