Onions

If you fry onions (just with a bit of frylight) do you have to syn them ?


Like if you stir fried them ?


I`m just trying out a few receipes, and i cut some chicken breast into strips and lightly fried it (with fry light), then threw in a bit of red onion. I then lightly browned it, drained off the juices and put it in a slcie of wholemeal bread with a drizzle of lemon juice and some slices of cumcumber ... i`m on a red day, is this free ?

Onions (and all veg that is free raw) are also free cooked. Its fruit that turns into syns when you cook it. As long as yourr only using Fry Light its fine.

As long as all the fat is removed from your chicken (skin etc) before you eat it your recipe is free on Red except for the bread which you would have to HEX/syn.
