I just made pancakes using eggs, vanilla essence and sweetner and they were suprisingly yummy

Has anyone else tried these? What did you have with them? as they were a bit plain so i added yogurt and banana, but i don't think i would have yogurt on them agen x

You should def try them next time you have eggs in Dont add too much yogurt tho cus its too....yogurty :s lol.

I wanna try them agen 2moro but i cant think what to have with them....

these are what i know as syn-free pancakes.. i also put blueberrys in mine, .. or serve with squirty cream and berrys .. or my mullerlight and musilie for breaky .. also now i know lemon jif is free i make with lemon essence instead and then top with sweetner and jif to be more traditional x

Syn free pancakes;

Separate an egg into two bowls - white and yolk.

Whisk the white and add 3 tsp sweetner (or to taste), whisking til white and meringue-ish
Add some vanilla essence to the yolk.

Add the yolk to the white and fold together - this is your batter.

frylight a pan and add all of the batter, spreading it gently with the back of a spoon.

be gentle - this pancake is fragile! leave completely alone until you can slide a fish slice (etc) underneath, carefully turn it over to cook the second side. again, leave it alone until done, then lift it out onto your plate and add your toppings and enjoy!

lemon juice and sweetener for me. Or sliced banana and a very thin spread of nutella.

Thing is, when I start making these, I can't stop!! Just like I am with normal pancakes too!

mix ur nutella with quark or fromage frais and sweetner...... it goes alot futher
