oops in trouble

just set my cooker on fire lol well not lol doing a roast and put the wrong hob ring on and there was a knife on it halogen ring said to the oh I can smell burning he said it prob just my ciggie paper never thought to look went to check and bloody flames only few inces hight but still flames was very scary :-(

It is horrible. I set fire to my hob a couple of years ago. Flippin Nigella Lawson recipe with Brandy!

I didn't realise how much it affected me until my sister set the Christmas pudding alight. It freaked me a bit ( not enough to put me off eating it though )

I had lovely firemen come to the rescue and a new kitchen, so it wasn't all bad

I hope you ate feeling OK today and that there wasn't too much damage. X

My step-dad sent our kitchen up in flames back in the mid 70's ..... I've still not really got over losing my favourite red going-out skirt that was on the airer thing on a pulley from the ceiling. When I see them anywhere (some people have pots & pans hanging off them now) I have flash-backs of my poor skirt.
