Hi Kiera,
I've just seen your post and thought i should post as I also have PCOS and did the Cambridge diet almost 2 years ago - and 3 months after starting the diet surprise!!!! I WAS PREGNANT! I was soooo over the moon! Because I have the worst form of PCOS, in terms of symptoms...I have them all: insulin resistance, hirsutism, anovulation, no periods etc! I was told it would be close to impossible to get pregnant so I stopped ttc i didn't think about it anymore- however, being overweight was a big issue for me and I came across the Cambridge diet
I followed it as if it was like either all or nothing
I didn't cheat AT ALL for all the 3 months and the pounds just wentoff! first week I lost 1 stone! and all together close to 3...or maybe more...don't remember exactly...
but the good news is after those 3 months I went for a check up and found out I was pregnant! So there is a light in the end of the tunnel!
My baby boy is now almost 9 months (the joy of my life) and I am now going to try the Go Lower diet as I put the weight back on during pregnancy and looking after my baby etc
I would say if you are ttc and doing the Cambridge just make sure you don't do the diet after getting pregnant
when I found out I was pregnant I stop the diet as the first few months your body will need more than the Cambridge ... folic acid etc!
So hopefully you will have good news to share soon too!
Good luck x
