Hey all.
So I've been dieting since the end of June, I started on Lipotrim which was extremely effective at giving me a good kick start (I lost about 2 stone in a month) but after 4 weeks I decided I'd rather do the rest 'on my own'. Initially I just tried to eat healthily without really keeping track of what I was eating and while I avoided all the classic pit falls like cake, chocolate, biscuits etc... but I still wasn't nearly as successful as I would have liked, so after a week I moved on to Calorie Counting using MyFitnessPal and have been doing that for 35 days now. Generally speaking I try to stay under 1000 calories with the odd day going over into 1100/1200. MyFitnessPal says I should have 1420 for a 2lbs a week loss but I have been just fine eating less and would rather just lose weight a bit faster.
As my Diary sort of picks up 2/3rds of the way through I'll just begin from Monday this week.
Starting Weight = 12st11lbs
Starting BMI = 26.3
I'm a man so I think a BMI of between 23 and 25 (11st2lbs and 12st1lb) would look best so that's what I'm aiming for, but we'll see when I get there how I feel about it.
Anyway, on with the Diary.
Monday 3rd September
I worked Sunday night so I spent most of Monday sleeping waking up at 6pm, eating dinner a few hours later and then going back to sleep in the early hours which explains the low calorie intake for the day. I went for a 10km run after I woke up and managed to clock my new best time of 58 minutes which I was suitably pleased with.
Calories
Dinner - Homemade Chicken Pasta with Tomato/Chilli sauce - 440 Calories
Snack - Muller Light Yoghurt - 90 Calories
Exercise:
Running - 937 Calories (according to MapMyRun iPhone app)
Net Total = -401 Calories
Tuesday 4th September
I'm not back in work again until Friday night so I have plenty of time this week to get a lot of exercise in. This continued on Tuesday by running another 10km in a similar time. I usually always try and skip Breakfast on days off go for a run when I wake up and come back and eat a small lunch followed by dinner and then a good 4-6 hours to let that digest before sleep.
Calories:
Lunch - Ham and Cheese Sandwich - 341 Calories
Dinner - Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese - 560 Calories
Snack - Muller Light Yoghurt - 90 Calories
Exercise:
Running - 957 Calories
Net Total = 38 Calories
