Hi,
This my 6th week on Cambridge and the results have been nothing short of miraculous. I can't say I have found it easy - but I feel motivated and positive and I will reach goal.
I have been 100% sole source+ - with no cheats. (thanks Spangles for your 'no cheats' - every time I reached for something naughty I thought - then I won't ever be able to write 'no cheats' in my diary)
This week I just feel energized, old clothes are fitting, I want to walk everywhere and am happier than I remember being in years. I have a bounce back in my step.
6 weeks in and I feel - well - fantastic. I wanted to write this diary today, so in the weeks to come when I feel discouraged as the weight loss slows, I can recapture the feeling of wellbeing I have today.(Of course this feeling of well being could simply stem from not waking up with a massive hangover most mornings!)
To anyone just starting - I was daunted by the amount I had to lose, my goal weight seemed so far and unreachable and I felt sure I would give up, just as I have given up so many times in the past. Just over a month on, and I have lost the weight of a small child. If you are struggling - give it a good month, get that first big chunk of weight off and then reassess how you feel about this diet.
Starting weight 233lbs
Week 1: -7lbs
Week 2: -3lbs
Week 3: -4lbs
Week 4: -5lbs
Week 5: -6lbs
Total lost so far: 25lbs!!
Current weight: 208lbs!!
