PS3 - Does anybody know where I can get a good deal?

Just quickly posting this thread before I go to work.

The question says it all really. My son has asked me to buy him a PS3 as a combined birthday/Christmas pressie. Needless to say, he's dragged me around the usual game shops to price the console (usual price £425) but I'm hoping that I can get a better deal and wondered if anybody could let me know of one.

So, Mike, Brad and anybody who already has one, can you help please?

I bought one for a present from www.play.com for just under £400 and this included postage and some kind of wire.

Have you tried Amazon online or Game shop.

At the moment, Amazon are selling for £399, obviously with free postage.

Tried Pricerunner for you and couldn't get any cheaper.

Thanks Irene, Sarah and Holly I'm hoping that I may be able to get one either cheaper or with a few extras if I hang on until the Christmas stuff comes out.

I've had a look at a couple of other sites who are retailing at £425 with 2 games and the wire but I've got a bit of time until I have to buy so I'm hoping it'll be a buyer's market. lol
