I keep seeing this mentioned. What is it lol. And is it free?

It's a very low fat soft cheese.
some love it, some hate it. I love it and use it all the time.
I add sweetener to it and whip it up for ages and I swear it tastes like thick cream but its also good in savoury stuff....makes a good base for dips too!

Isnt it funny how we are all so different? I like quark in savoury dishes but dont like the quark/sweetner combo to make mock cream. To me no matter how much sweetener I put in I can still taste the sourness of the quark. But as I say, I love it in savoury dishes.

Really? Oh I think it's delicious! Or whipped with sweetener and a options hot choc in it....soooo satisfying!
When the proper British strawberries are in season I'm in heaven...I never get how people think it tastes sour! But then, I tried the Dowe Egberts flavoured coffee and think they are pretty tasteless!

I used quark, little bit of plain yogurt, crushed garlic, black pepper and squeeze of lemon juice
