Can u eat more protein n stay in ketosis when working out daily? I'm burning like 600 cals a day ATM and just find 3 packs plus 1 prot ain't enough! Xx
 
I can't see how more protein would knock you out of ketosis, consider how many calories you can get through on Atkins! If you're burning that many cals then it's probably quite wise to have more protein to keep all things hunky dory :)
 
more protein is fine with ketosis, even fat is (you just have to watch the calories) you could eat loads of meat and stay in ketosis, but you still need to be careful with exercise -I exercise, have an active job, and I did this last time I was on a VLCD, I lost the same as people doing no exercise (though I kept it off really well) you have to be very careful with cardio. To be honest you could probably have slightly more carbs than allowed to help with exercise, but Im not sure what the best thing to eat would be, perhaps vegetables or beans
 
Oh thanks guys :) ye know what u mean hun! But tbh I'm not worried about if I loose less or more its my fitness I want to improve and my body no point in loosing lots of lbs n been unfit n flabby lol x
 
I am the same. I go to the gym to get fit and also to help me change my lifestyle so that I won't put the weight back on when I get to target
 
I would suggest that you have extra protein on the days that you work out. Also listen to your body and make sure you're not pushing yourself too hard given then low level of carbs you are taking in.
