New to slim &save and wondered if anyone has recipes using the packs. I had porridge this morning but found it too watery. How do you make biscuits? Also - do you add less water to make a pudding with choc shakes.
I know I will be ok for a couple of weeks but will need variety after that.
Any hints welcome - I will try anything lol

i mix my shakes up with only 200ml water - makes them lovely and thick like mcdonalds shakes. :)

There's a sticky with recipe ideas, that should give you all the recipes you need!

I make the crispy choc shake with about 50mls of water then pop in the freezer for 30 mins to set a bit, lush!

Hi! I posted this recipe for a cinnamon/oat cookie recently. Hope that helps! :)

Not sure whether I am following the original recipe, and I don't have them very often, but occasionally as a breakfast treat. Today I used a pack of original oatmeal, mixed in a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and a teaspoon of S&S 'GoFibre' (think I read somewhere that this is actually chicory root powder) then stirred in about two or three teaspoons of hot water to get the right consistency. Spooned it onto some greaseproof paper on a plate (it was about the size of a large digestive biscuit but thicker); put it in the microwave and zapped it on high for one minute. My microwave is only a mini 600 one, so for 800 probably less. It was still a bit wet after that so I turned it over onto some kitchen tissue and gave it another 30seconds. It had a lovely taste and texture. I think you need to experiment to get it right for you..... I made sure I drank my usual pint of water beforehand and also had a mug of tea. As Welshtigger says, best stick to packs at the beginning and get into the swing of things! :)

You can also cut a lemon and yogurt bar into five slices (shave ends off thinly first - and eat) then place in a circle on dish and microwave about thirty seconds - you get five lovely little biscuits with a white chocolate stripe across the middle. That was someone else's recipe!

Ah thanks - just noticed the stickies tab on my app!!! Thanks guys x
