I think it goes up with the posts you make and increases quicker if PPL rate the thread or thank you... thats just a guess though as mines shot up after a thread i started was rated

It has to do with the three little icons in the blue part of your posts (where all your stats are), a green dot, a scale and a warning sign. The scale is for the rep, which stands for reputation. If someone clicks on that, your rep power is going up. Hope this helps x

Well then, I actually rep'd myself while I was clicking away on all those litle things to see what they did. Almost reported my own as well!
