Road to size 12 (part 2)

Well this is my 2nd attempt at a diary this year. The first time I chose to go Exante and honestly didn't suit me at all- not to take away for the diet at all (it has amazing results for some) just made me feel tired and unable to weight lift/resistance train. Bit of background, I'm a 26 year old mature student doing my degree in health. Yep. I've also been a gym instructor for past 4 years (after losing 8 stone and getting fit). So I guess you could say I should know better! I am very physical active when I put my head to it, but food has always been a crutch for me and I just have never gotten over it. There will be rambling and ranting...

I keep saying "tomorrow" And tomorrow will be it. No longer will one biscuit lead to a binge. I will get over the one biscuit... Maybe I should link a biscuit up to 40 squats instead of a mad raid of the kitchen Haha. As it stands I have put 4.5 stone of the 8 lost and I want rid! I did it last time over a year of hard work and determination.

Anyway just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Looking forward to climbing down the scales with you all. Going to record everything here- exercise, food. My crazy thoughts. I will weigh in morning. The goal is12-14 lbs per month. Bring on the summer!!!

Hi diamond doll, we are both on a similar road (I'm on a size 10/12 mission), I'm trying to lose 3 1/2 stone ish I put back on. Look forward to your diary and good luck this time around! I hope it's your last!!

Weighed in this morning at 15.4 (ouch, 4 lbs more than estimated). I decided to calorie count and exercise 6 x per week (90 minute sessions weight training with cardio blast at end!) so here I am, day one :)

Breakfast; 15 cherry tomatoes (on the go!)
Lunch; tomato soup with toast and a thin spread of lurpak lighter
Dinner; eggs on toast with a teaspoon of ketchup on the side
Total cal; 938
Total sat fat;10grams
Carb;102g
Protein; 32g

Exercise; 45 minute boot camp using cardio, resistance machines and body weight exercises. Full body.
-20 minutes power plate blast (legs and core)

Bit limited with my food choices today as on lates at work and 9pm shopping= possible temptations lol!

Day 2 :)

Breakfast; 1 slice of toast with lurpak light
Lunch; egg and oven chips

So far so good calorie and sat fat wise! Love the cal counting... Everything in moderation theory truly being tested!
 
Not been on for a few days due to work madness + no Internet connection. Been ok, done exercise up until yesterday when I've been hit by lovely cold bug! still plodding on though. What beautiful day! Makes me feel good and look forward to wearing smaller clothes!
 
Today's food;

Breakfast; tomato juice
Lunch; tomato soup
Dinner; homemade clean curry (tomato based, no cream) with boiled rice and 100g oven chips
Drinks; water, 2 White wine spritzer

Total cals ; 1255

Not too bad, could have lived without the chips and wine though!!! Tummy feels smaller today! Xx

Had a bit of an early weigh in and stayed the same! Expected it really as been ill and inactive but also because it's one of those weeks and I know I can go up a good 5lbs on these weeks! Oh the joys. started the day off with a glass of tomato juice as my throat is on fire with the dregs of this cold and it was lovely and soothing - plus vit c! Hope your all having a good day and enjoying the beaut weather! I am laid in bed browsing size 12 on ASOS!!! girls gotta have a dream! Xx

Edited; actually lost 1 lb... My weigh in las week was 15.4 not15.3 like I thought lol, yay still 1 gone!!!

Tomorrows plan; cal controlled and hit the iron! My partner wants to start running weekday mornings also so 2 workouts. Da week days will certain help with shifting the pounds. Ah now time to set some goals / short term one!

Week 2; lose 5 lbs - big goal I know but plan on working it this week as I feel I've had a bit of a false start!
Week 3; lose 3 lbs
Week 4; lose 3 lbs for a 1st month total of 12 lbs
 
Today has been my best day for a while, so hopefully it will show one the scales! Total calories were 1000 but felt totally full. Think the hot weather helps curb the appetite! Thinking of trying herbalife to swap 1 meal a day with and up my protein intake, I've seen some pretty good results from people I know using it whilst training. But for now, will just concentrate on my monthly goal of 12 lbs!
 
been reading through your diary and you sound exactly like me, Im currently a size 12 top and 14 bottom and want to try and lose some weight so I can properly fit in to a 12 and be comfortable!

Been so hungry the past few days but have taken my calories down to 1200 as I'm finding time is short to train and am nt managing my 6 times a week on the iron! Today's breakfast was eggs and toast, lunch a work will be pasta follow by a gym session and then something for dinner to keep me in that 1200 limit. Had my official weigh in and yes it's still 5lbs down for the week so happy with that! On target for the month!
 
Oh dear, haven't wrote in here for a while! What's new to reports? Well I've started my weight training again, lost 8 pounds and feeling really good :D
